- What do each one of the sources best represent? What are the characteristics of each? (found in textbook)
- What are the different names of God and what do they mean?
- Identify the story of Original Sin...Who's present? What do we already know?
- Identify the story of Cain and Abel...Who kills who? Why? What happens between God and the murderer? Where does that man go? Does he have children?
- What's the original meaning of Adam, in the Hebrew? Why does it mean this?
- Be able to recall the creation accounts...what happens in what order in Genesis 1? What about Genesis 2? Which is more orderly, which is less orderly?
- Describe the idea of myth...Is it historical? Why or why not?
- Describe the notion that the Israelites, in Babylon chose elements from their own experience to compile the stories. What are some mentioned examples within the text (ie: Tigris and Euphrates)?
